I’m prototyping some tool access control boxes and plan to give the two prototypes (and the plans to build more) to the space once they’re ready. Will add technical detail to here at a later date. We need to come up with a name for the system too (Nottingham use Nhtools, London use ACNode).
Very lazy two minute mockup looks as follows, any objections/suggestions?
The blue box is an LCD screen showing current status (such as “Present RFID Tag”, “In Use”, “Induct Ready”, etc). Black and red circles are push buttons of the appropriate colour.
