The date has now been set for the 2019 AGM:

Thursday 28th November, 7.30pm-9.30pm, at the Makerspace.

The AGM is a review of the past year, a time to make decisions for the coming year, including an introduction to the candidates for board election this year.

We have a variety of things to discuss, including proposed amendments to the Membership Guide, door remote access and a variety of financial related items to name but a few.

Any other things to discuss? Let us know and we can add to the Agenda (reply to email, Telegram, etc).

If you can’t make the date let us know your opinions beforehand.

Xmas
We’re having a party! Its this Wednesday, Dec 18th, at the usual space social evening - please bring snacks/foods/drinks to contribute, I can bring a small oven if we need to heat any of them. Bring decorations if you want to throw some up too. We’ll have music etc.

Party also involves a Hebocon! This is a “rubbish robot” tournament, where crappy bots get pitted against one another in a knockout tournament, it was great fun last year.

Election
The directors election is still ongoing, ends on Dec 25th. Everyone should have had an email from opavote with instructions and a vote button/link. Please let us know if you can’t find it. A reminder set of emails will be sent out on Friday.
